What to Expect

The Anglican Catechism

To Be a Christian is an Anglican catechism that presents the essential beliefs and practices of the Christian faith in a clear and concise manner. It is divided into four parts: The Christian Faith, The Christian Life, The Christian Hope, and The Christian Sacraments. Each section explores key concepts such as the Trinity, sin and redemption, prayer, and the sacraments of baptism and Holy Communion.

The catechism is designed to be used for instruction in preparation for baptism, confirmation, or reception into the Anglican Church. It is also a helpful resource for ongoing spiritual formation and discipleship. To Be a Christian reflects the richness and depth of Anglican tradition, while remaining accessible to newcomers and those seeking to deepen their understanding of the faith. It is a valuable tool for individuals, small groups, and congregations seeking to grow in their knowledge and practice of the Christian faith
