Pastor/Presbyter Mark Shields

Mark Shields was born and lived in Southern California until 2003. After retiring from the Post Office in October 2003 Mark with his wife Brenda moved to Arizona to attend Andrewes Hall Seminary in Phoenix, with the intention of being ordained to the ministry of the Reformed Episcopal Church. After completing his courses from Andrewes Hall with a Bachelor of Theology (B. Th.) Mark was ordained as Deacon on January 31, 2010 and serves as minister in charge at St. Andrew’s REC in Phoenix. Previous to his ordination Mark had been assisting Rev. Steve Rutt at both St Andrew’s REC, and Westfork Church in Phoenix. Mark is also interning with Pastoral Care Associates, and is involved with various assisted living facilities, primarily with Glendale Care Center. Mark and Brenda have been married since 1976 and are blessed with three grown sons and four grandchildren.
